Cu-ETP, showing purplish red.
The copper material is industrial pure copper with a melting point of 1083℃ and a relative density of 8.96g/cm3. Copper contains a certain amount of oxygen, so it is also called oxygen-containing copper. It has good electrical and thermal conductivity, excellent formability, and is easy to be processed by hot pressing and cold pressing.

Copper Cu: ≥99.90%
Lead Pb: ≤0.005%
Iron Fe: ≤0.005%
Antimony Sb: ≤0.002%
Sulfur S: ≤0.005%
Arsenic As: ≤0.002%
Bismuth Bi: ≤0.0005%

Mechanical properties of Cu-ETP copper material:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥240;
Elongation δ10 (%): ≥15;
Hardness: 70~120HV.
Its electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity are second only to silver, and it is widely used in the production of electrical and thermal conductivity equipment.
Copper has good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, seawater and some non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkali, salt solution and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid), and is used in the chemical industry.
In addition, copper has good weldability, and can be processed into various semi-finished products and finished products by cold and thermoplastic processing.
Copper is also used in the production of motor short-circuit rings, electromagnetic heating inductors, and high-power electronic components, terminal blocks, etc., and some are also used in furniture and decorations such as doors, windows, and handrails.
Oxyacetylene welding
Wire 201 (or wire 202) welding wire and flux 301 can be used for copper oxyacetylene welding. It is preheated at 400~700℃ before welding, and the welding flame adopts neutral flame and large flame power. With fewer welding layers, hammering the weld after welding reduces welding stress.
Electrode arc welding
Copper electrode arc welding can choose copper 107 or copper 227 electrode. The power supply adopts DC reverse connection. The preheating temperature before welding is 300~500℃, and the short arc, straight line reciprocating transport bar is adopted during welding, and the welding seam is hammered after welding to reduce welding stress.
TIG welding
The welding wire and flux used in argon tungsten arc welding of copper are the same as those used in oxyacetylene welding, and the power source is DC positive connection. Preheat before welding, but the temperature should not be too high.
